Work applicable written inspection procedures, drawings, and other pertinent instruction and/or Approved Technical Data to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools and gages and other equipment, accepting material or referring for rework or quality review based on findings. May use fixed or variable measuring instruments where work instructions require checking dimensions and recording results. Perform simple mathematical computations to determine pass/fail results based on allowed tolerance. Follow proper procedures to perform inspection checks and verification of dimensions and make sure that Work Instructions are being followed. Recognize need and arrange for repair or calibration of measuring equipment used in performing the work as necessary. Support and promote continuous improvement activities to meet business objectives. Must maintain Inspection stamp. Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously Flexibility around shifts for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtimeQualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Prior relevant experience.Qualifications We Prefer:
Inspection experience in a production environment Basic Blueprint Reading ability Familiarity with precision measuring equipment Basic Computer skillsBasic Shop Math Role Type:
