February 2, 2026 Quality Inspector for Electronics Manufacturing Maitland, FL $20 - $22 / per hour Full time Apply Now Back Job Description Opening in 1997, as a small cable assembly house, our client has grown into a vertically integrated supplier of RF and Microwave components and sub-assemblies. They have successfully supplied product to the military, commercial, medical and electronic industries. With two facilities, occupying 22,000 square feet, state-of-the-art assembly and inspection equipment and the latest engineering software, the company has the ability to provide anything from precision machining to solving their customer's most challenging interconnect requirement, from cable assemblies, as well as the capability to integrate components to provide them with a complete sub-assembly. The company has an immediate need for a Quality Inspector. U.S. Citizenship is a DOW requirement for this position.
Overview:
The Quality Inspection person will oversee Electronic Assemblers to ensure a high level of quality across all areas of production. This role is responsible for meeting or exceeding standards regarding safety, process, inspection requirements, documentation, on time delivery and productivity. The Quality Inspector reports to both the Quality Assurance Manager (Personnel) and the Quality Engineer (Technical).
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise personnel, ensuring optimal performance. Conduct team meetings and training. Manage the development, training, records, and certifications of inspectors.
  • Conduct and document performance reviews, disciplinary actions, interviews, as required and per company policy with guidance from upper management.
  • Monitor and approve clock records and PTO requests.
  • Work closely with the QM/QE and Production teams to ensure inspectors are assigned the appropriate tasks. Optimize workflow and resource allocation of people and equipment.
  • Communicate to subordinates to ensure compliance with directives such as CAPA and Audit results, MRBs, ECR/ECN, and Quality Alerts.
  • Conduct review of inspection documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Drive quality process improvements.
  • Support the development and implementation of QMS documents and records.
  • Conduct internal audit activities related to work instructions, processes, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with Quality Engineer for first article inspections.
  • Ensure timely communication of production or quality issues with the appropriate manager to minimize production downtime.
  • Review quality documents to ensure adherence to procedures.
  • Identify and correct issues in the quality inspection process, relating to materials, equipment, workflow, skill level, etc.
  • Perform initial review of nonconforming materials and collaborate with inspectors and the Quality Engineer to determine appropriate disposition.
  • Support daily inspection when necessary, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of ISO-9001 and
AS9100/9102
experience required. IPC-WHMA-A-620 and/or
J-STD-001
Certification preferred. Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications. Skilled in the use of inspection tools such as rulers, micrometers, calipers, microscopes, etc. Experience using MS Office (Specifically Excel, Word and Outlook) Ability to prioritize jobs and be proactive. Accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong troubleshooting and technical skills.
