Location:
Slatersville, RI Pay:
$21•23/hr Key Responsibilities Perform dimensional and visual inspections on new and existing products to ensure conformance to specifications. Use inspection results to support approval of new molds and enhancements to existing molds. Operate and utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, dial indicators, depth gauges, and optical comparators. Document inspection results accurately using spreadsheets and reports. Manufacture samples as required, including operating injection molding and assembly machines when needed. Conduct statistical analyses and generate reports with findings and recommendations. Support the Material Review Board and Quality Department by performing root cause analysis on nonconforming products. Evaluate, improve, and maintain inspection and testing procedures. Assist with training employees on new or updated inspection and test procedures. Perform other duties as assigned based on skill level and operational needs.
Requirements / Qualifications
Basic computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet applications. Basic report writing ability. Experience using a variety of precision measuring and inspection equipment. Understanding of basic statistical methods. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting 50+ pounds and frequent bending, crouching, and standing. #LP
