Empowering. The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina , supporting Combat Mission Systems, is seeking a Quality Auditor (Dimensional Inspector) for its Weekend Shift. In this role, you will use a Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) and other inspection equipment to inspect machined and/or welded components against blueprint requirements prior to shipment to customers. You will also provide quality auditing support to shop floor operations.

Note:

This position supports Second and Weekend Shift. Required Skills Experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools, including: Calipers Micrometers Height gages Scales Other dimensional inspection equipment Ability to read, comprehend, and work from engineering blueprints. Ability to support Second and Weekend Shift. Preferred Skills Coordinate Measurement Machine ( CMM ) experience. Knowledge and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) . Weld inspection knowledge or experience. Experience with FARO Arm/Laser Tracker equipment. Experience with Keyence inspection equipment. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Typically requires one year of related work experience . Schedule Second/Weekend Shift.
