Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Coordinates and supports the implementation and performance of assigned core measures through data collection, reporting, and staff education. Core Measures include but are not limited to Perinatal Care, Inpatient Psychiatric Facility Quality Reporting, and Outpatient Emergency Department measures. Develops, monitors, and updates processes, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and compliance with regulatory standards. Serves as a resource to staff and patients, assists with meeting coordination and documentation, and supports regulatory activities, inspections, and disease-specific program initiatives. This role is also responsible for coordinating with Medical Staff Services to plan and execute quarterly interdisciplinary Perinatal Committee meetings. Leads, co-leads, and facilitates interdisciplinary performance improvement initiatives that advance quality, patient safety, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance across the organization. Utilizes structured improvement methodologies, including Lean, Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA), Six Sigma, and other evidence-based process improvement tools to identify opportunities, analyze workflows, reduce variation, and improve outcomes. Collaborates with clinical, operational, and physician leaders to define project goals, develop action plans, measure performance, and sustain compliance.
