full-time NOVA Engineering is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector (SCDOT) in our Columbia, SC office. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Positions offer the opportunity for growth and advancement for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:

Perform field services for soils, foundations, pavement sections, reinforced concrete, structural masonry, wood framing, structural steel and other special inspections, as applicable. Coordinate with contractors, and NOVA staff regarding execution of required services and result of testing and/or inspections, as applicable. Prepare detailed and complete daily field reports

Requirements:

SCDOT Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Level 1 Quality Control Technician is required SCDOT in Asphalt Roadway Technician (ART), Earthworks, Concrete, etc. are plus 2+ years of experience in construction inspection with a focus on roadway field inspection and HMA quality assurance lab testing Highly desired with a minimum of 3 years of experience in roadway and bridge construction Strong knowledge of SCDOT construction standards and procedures Check out our
