Job Description
Eaton's
ES AMER ARS
division is currently seeking a Quality Inspector, 3rd Shift at 415 Puckett Ferry Road in Greenwood, SC. The rate for this position is $20.94 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 11:30 pm until 7:30 am. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you'll do: As a Quality Inspector, you will carry out a wide range of detailed inspection activities required by customers to ensure products meet or exceed specifications. This includes selecting the appropriate inspection tools, methods, and procedures based on product type and customer expectations.- Perform thorough inspections of materials, components, and finished goods to ensure they meet all quality and safety standards.
- Use various measurement tools and testing equipment to verify product compliance with specifications.
- Accurately record inspection data, maintain test and measurement documentation, and report any non‑conformance issues.
- Identify, document, and communicate defects, deviations, or areas for improvement in products or processes.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, industry, customer, and internal standards (e.g., ISO).
- Partner with production teams to provide quality feedback and recommend corrective actions.
- Suggest improvements based on inspection findings and data analysis.
- Conduct routine audits of production processes and quality systems to confirm ongoing compliance.
- Provide guidance or training to team members on quality standards and inspection practices.
- Perform follow-up inspections to confirm corrective actions have been completed effectively.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous quality experience.

Preferred:
- 3 months+ of manufacturing experience.
- 3 months+ of experience using hand and air tools.
- 1 year+ of experience with MS Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Position Criteria:
- Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs and lift up to 40 lbs with or without accommodation.
