Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Quality Inspector/Assembler to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong track record of reliability, mature judgment, and 3-5 years of experience in a professional inspection environment. The successful candidate will perform visual inspections, precise measurements, and component assembly to ensure the highest standards of quality in bearing components.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify incoming documentation against bearing component specifications. Conduct detailed visual inspections using scribes and magnification tools, both pre- and post-repair. Measure components using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges. Make informed decisions on component acceptance or rejection based on established criteria. Communicate material removal requirements to machine operators clearly and professionally. Perform identification etchings on bearings using air pencil tools. Ensure inspection tools are properly calibrated and in optimal working condition before use. Apply current specifications and tolerances as defined by the manufacturer. Support and maintain 5S workplace organization standards. Adhere strictly to all plant safety regulations. Take initiative to perform additional duties as needed to support team success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a professional inspection or quality control role. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Proven record of excellent attendance and punctuality. Strong maturity of judgment and ability to work independently under pressure. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Must pass a near-vision eye test to Jaeger 1 and a color perception test. Must be proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
Education:
