Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet rigorous quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. Your expertise will support the continuous improvement of our quality systems, uphold compliance with industry standards, and guarantee that our manufacturing processes produce reliable, safe, and high-quality products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
o Responsible for building a well-trained team which is passionate about safety, quality, efficiency, and company success o Report to work as scheduled every day, and demonstrate GREAT attendance o Observe standards for breaks, and lunches based on posted time-clock policy o Treat all coworkers with dignity and respect o Provide and accept constructive feedback o Teamwork- Contributes to building a positive team spirit; puts success of team above own interests; supports everyone's efforts to succeed; maintains a positive attitude; generates ideas and suggestions that improve the team's performance, the efficiency of the process or the quality of the products o Observe all expectations for quality, and safety o Meet or exceed company expectations for production performance to maximize sales o Knowledge of SQF, GMP's, SOP's, and HACCP, and other food process sanitation requirements.
EVERYDAY
o Follow all safety and OSHA policies and report any issues or violations immediately to a supervisor. o Safety is first within our organization. Quality is the second most important aspect of your role. o Prevent cross-contamination by following all policies and procedures.Other Responsibilities and Skills Needed:

Work Experience Requirements:
- Must be willing to work weekends when needed
- Basic mathematical skills
- Basic computer skills
- This position is responsible for ensuring that food safety is not compromised while meeting the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing and are responsible to report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Physical and Safety Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and all other food safety requirements
- Complies with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE's) requirements
- Reports any food safety problems or potentially unsafe practices/conditions to lead or supervisor
- Constant walking and standing on hard concrete service
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, lifting and climbing
- Position will require working in very hot and cold conditions
- Other conditions include flour dust, wet floors, occasional smoke and fumes if product burns
Pay:
$17.00- $19.
