Quality Technician (2nd shift) Req #5504 Piedmont, SC 29673, USA Apply Share Job Description Posted Friday, August 14, 2026 at 12:00 AM Quality Technician (2nd shift; 3pm - 11:30pm) Summary/Purpose The quality assurance technician will support manufacturing and follow policies and procedures related to successful operations.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.
  • Receiving inspection
  • Performance testing
  • Product testing
  • Manufacturing troubleshooting
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Others duties as assigned by management
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
  • Metrology and gage calibration experience
  • Knowledge of GD&T and SPC
  • Experience with SPC, receiving inspection, performance testing, product testing and manufacturing troubleshooting
  • Willing/able to learn to operate and maintain various equipment at an acceptable level with an emphasis on quality, IATF 16949 standard, ISO 14001, safety/environmental, 5S and productivity
  • Ability to understand and demonstrate standard work.
  • Proficient English communication skills.
  • Regular and punctual attendance is required.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Work shift as assigned and overtime is required, as needed.
  • Will be required to do the following throughout the shift: standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching above and below shoulders, moving left to right repetitively, grasping, and fine finger dexterity.
  • May be required to lift during shift up to 40 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required with this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The performance of this position requires exposure to manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, safety glasses with side shields.
