$27-32/hr

Duration:

6 months

Required:

Must have extensive knowledge of creating and reviewing FAIs.

Perform job inspection at first piece, in process and final inspection per the Job Instructions Sheet plans.

Knowledge of WHMA and IPC specifications

Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and Delta FAI per AS9102 requirements.

Demonstrate proper use and maintenance of gages and inspection equipment.

Perform proper documentation including inspection stamping of quality paperwork.

Maintain and improve 5S standards on workstations and responsible areas.

Adhere to company EH&S policies and guidelines.

Review FAIs to ensure completion.

Balloon Drawing for FAI completion.

Meet with customers either on-site or via calls to explain FAIs, if needed.

Able to communicate with all levels of the organization on the status of FAIs. Preferred Skills (if any): Able to interpret technical (GD&T) drawings.

Highly proficient in using hand held tools (micrometers, calipers, Optical Comparator and other measuring and test equipment.

General proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Good command of written and spoken English.

Able to raise simple reports.

Understand CORE tools.

Certified Quality Inspector Education/Experience:

High School Diploma/GED PLUS 6 years experience; in lieu of education

AT LEAST 10 YEARS

experience in the field
