Job Description

Sportsman Boats is looking for a Quality Control Associate for lamination who will implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality standards are achieved consistently. This position strives to improve quality and manufacturing processes on a daily basis. This position will conduct inspections, audits, and many other daily projects as needed. Our production schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
What you will do:
Promotes and execute quality standards, inspection processes, instruction, test methodology, quality plans, documents and reports Investigate and determine cause of faulty work and consult and advise production Managers, Supervisors and Team Leads as to corrective measures Works closely with department Managers, Supervisors, and Team Leads to ensure good quality product and workmanship standards are being met before boats are completed. Performs real-time quality assurance checks during production processes Participates in improving the work environment through 5S standards Reports data back to originating departments To be considered you must have: Minimum 2 years of work experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Confidence in decision making; willing to push back on production staff when quality or workmanship standards are not being met Strong execution capability, time-management skills, and multitasking; ability to quickly shift priorities in support of production needs Ability to work in fast-paced, ever changing environment Additional duties as assigned Preferred Education and Experience Demonstrated success in improving quality and efficiency Strong personality, flexible with change Demonstrate ability to deal with adversity Bilingual Spanish/English strongly desirable Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards Why should you consider joining the Sportsman team?
