Quality Supervisor Job Summary:
Responsible for initiating, auditing, supporting and assisting in Quality Assurance Systems and activities within ATS, our customers and suppliers. Responsibilities Maintains and aids in the Establishment of Quality and Reliability Standards by study product and customer requirements with production operators, technicians, and engineers. Assists in problem solving activities using established methods including 5-why and other root cause analysis methods and 8D. Maintains and aids in the Establishment of Raw Material Standards by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements. Maintains In-Process Product Condition by studying manufacturing methods; devising testing and inspection methods; conducting inspections and physical tests; creating of control plans and visual aids; training of operations personnel; auditing for conformance. Prepares Product and Process Quality Reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintains and aids in the Establishment of Quality Assurance Operations and Systems by writing, assisting, and following quality assurance policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Prepares and Presents Data by developing computer databases; analyzing and interpretation of data; application of statistical techniques. Maintains Professional and Technical Knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Maintains Safe Environment by complying with ATS safety policies; identifying potential safety non-conformances; complying with housekeeping goals. Contributes to Team Effort by participation in Project Teams and accomplishing related results as needed. Required Skill and Characteristics Associates degree or equivalent experience. Proficient in problem solving methods. Interact with co-workers in a positive and constructive manner. Basic typing and/or computer skills. Willingness to work "flex" hours when required. Preferred Skills and Characteristics Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter requiring minimal supervision. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and seminars.
