Job Description

The QA Technician Level 1 position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day quality activities associated with the production, sampling, inspection, testing, and release of materials and finished products. This position works closely with the Quality Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform in-coming inspection of materials and finished product. Assist Production with in-process testing, as needed. Assist in Final Lot testing. Perform Sterile Finished Goods Inspection Placement and incubation of biological indicators associated with sterilization Completion and maintenance of various Quality records. Update Quality procedures associated with the activities listed above, as needed Change the status of items within the company computer system Perform other duties within the Quality department (NCR, Validation, CAPA, Internal Audits, etc.), as assigned by the Quality Manager. Requirements High School graduate. One (1) year experience within a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, food, etc. Good computer skills. Good written and verbal communication skills Highly organized and detail-oriented. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly Must be able to stand for long periods (seven (7) hours or more) Must be able to work in both climate and non-climate controlled work areas
