Job Description

Position:
Quality Inspector Location:
Watertown, South Dakota 1st Shift hours: Monday-Thursday - (5am-3pm) Overtime may be expected on Fridays. Pay is $17-19/hour, full time with benefits.Basic Purpose of Position:
To verify the quality of the product before it leaves the facility, making sure they work the first time, every time for the customer. This position will be primarily focused on Final Inspection with support in the Incoming Inspection area as needed.Day to day responsibilities:
- PCB panel inspection.
- Inspection of electrical components (resistors, capacitors, IC's, transistors, diodes, crystals, coils, inductors, and relays).
- May subject parts, assemblies and purchased components to rigorous dimensional analysis to ascertain conformance to required tolerances.
- May perform physical tests on materials using hardness tester, profilometer, durometer, tension tester, etc. to ascertain conformance to required tolerances.
- May reference blueprints, interpret dimensioning shown and review inspection results against engineering and customer expectations.
- Incoming material inspection as needed.
- Complete respective paperwork/documentation.
- Enter/extract data in computer.
- Keep work area neat and organized.
- Actively promote safety and accident prevention by continually observing all safety practices, rules and standards throughout each working day.
- All other duties as assigned.

Basic computer navigation skills required.Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.Physical:
Able to lift 40 pounds with or without accommodation.Language:
