$20.50 - $22.25 per hour Job description: SHIROKI North America, a supplier to the automotive industry located in Gordonsville, TN is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician for 2nd shift (6:00pm - 2:30am).

Brief job description:

The primary function of this position is to ensure quality standards are being met and followed.

Responsibilities:

Performing the assigned duties while following the established rules and procedures for doing so, which include but not limited to: Perform line and dock audits Daily build up and the checking of parts Collect samples and data to assist in problem solving as required Issue quality alerts, rework instructions with required signatures File data sheets, poke yoke charts, etc. Emergency sorting of parts to support production Communicate any problems to Quality Engineer and Operations Report any unsafe conditions and prevent bad quality from passing on to next operator. Follow and observe all safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

Work experience in at least one previous job with quality control experience; willingness to cross train; positive attitude; ability to work the designated shift; ability to work overtime as required, which could include time before or after the designated shift and/ or weekends. Organization skills and attention to detail. Effective decision-making capacity. Above average attendance history.

Physical Requirements:

• Visual inspection
• Repetitive hand gripping
• Ability to reach with hands and arms
• Ability to stand and walk for the required shift (8-10 hours)
• Ability to bend and twist

Hourly Pay Rate:

$20.50 up to $22.25

• Pay increase after successfully completing 90 day probationary period This is a climate-controlled facility.
