Job Description
InspectorInspector is responsible for in-process and final inspecting of cabs for structural and visual consistency and accuracy per documented internal procedural requirements. Incumbents in this role have successfully mastered all inspection protocols and any applicable test equipment.
Accurately perform internal/external customer- or facility process-specific inspectionPerform internal/external product dimensional and cosmetic inspections checks in accordance with product specifications.
Prep cabs for shipment (Assembly; Rivnut; Installation or Removal of parts per guidelines; etc.)Complete all necessary paperwork / system entries in a timely and efficient mannerKnowledge of physical steel and/or composite propertiesWorking knowledge of quality control; welding processes; final assembly; paint processes.
Strong mathematical skillsStrong problem solving skills desiredComputer Skills (MS Word, Excel) preferredGood communication skills (oral and written)Must be able to comprehend and retain an understanding of internal requirements.
Must be able to handle brief physical exertions and be able to stand for periods of time.
Must be able to read drawings/blue prints and distinguish part numbers, components, fittings, etc.
