Responsibilities Conduct dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications. Perform quality inspections throughout the production process, ensuring adherence to quality standards in production and regulatory requirements such as
ISO 13485, ISO
9001, GMP, and HACCP. Interpret mechanical blueprints and manufacturing documents accurately to assess conformity with design specifications. Execute quality audits on manufacturing processes and finished products to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality management systems. Collect and analyze data related to product quality, measurement results, and inspection reports to support root cause analysis and corrective actions. Calibrate and maintain measuring instruments, including height gauges, vision systems, and other precision measurement tools, ensuring accuracy at all times. Collaborate with production teams to implement quality control procedures that align with regulatory/legal compliance standards in production. Requirements Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of quality systems such as ISO standards (ISO 13485, ISO 9001) and GMP practices. Proficiency in using measurement instruments like coordinate measuring machines (CMM), height gauges, and vision inspection systems. Mechanical knowledge coupled with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with regulatory standards including FDA regulations, HACCP principles, and legal compliance standards in production. Strong analytical skills for data collection, analysis, and problem-solving related to dimensional measurements and quality issues. Basic math skills necessary for precise measurement calculations and data interpretation. Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions within a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
