Develop and validate CMM inspection programs using software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar.
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CAD models.
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI), capability studies, and PPAP documentation.
Analyze measurement data to identify trends, root causes, and process deviations.
Collaborate with tooling, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve dimensional and process issues.
Support mold validation, mold trials, and new product launches.
Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with

Train technicians and operators on inspection methods and quality standards. We would love to hear from you if: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).3-5+ years of experience in injection molding and CMM operation/programming.
Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
Experience with CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Zeiss Calypso, Mitutoyo MCOSMOS).Familiarity with SPC, MSA, and quality tools (FMEA, 8D, root cause analysis).Understanding of plastic materials and molding process parameters.

Role:
An Injection Molding CMM Engineer is responsible for ensuring dimensional accuracy and quality compliance of injection-molded components using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) technology. This role combines expertise in plastic injection molding processes with advanced metrology, data analysis, and quality control practices.What You'll Be Doing:
Key Responsibilities:
Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for dimensional inspection of molded parts.Develop and validate CMM inspection programs using software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar.
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CAD models.
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI), capability studies, and PPAP documentation.
Analyze measurement data to identify trends, root causes, and process deviations.
Collaborate with tooling, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve dimensional and process issues.
