Job Description

At Legend Conversion, we build premium, custom adventure vans, and luxury mobile offices. We take pride in our craftsmanship, and our clients rely on us to deliver safe, reliable, and beautifully finished vehicles. We are seeking a eagle-eyed, detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to serve as the final line of defense before our vans hit the open road. As our Van Conversion Inspector, you will perform comprehensive quality and safety evaluations on fully and partially converted vehicles. You will audit everything from custom woodworking and structural integrity to complex 12V electrical systems, plumbing, and automotive safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities Comprehensive Audits:
Perform complete post-conversion multi-point inspections on interior and exterior builds.
Systems Testing:
Test 12V and 110V electrical systems (solar setups, battery banks), freshwater/greywater plumbing, and auxiliary diesel/gas heaters (e.g., Webasto or Espar).
Craftsmanship Checks:
Inspect custom cabinetry, upholstery, wall paneling, and trim work for fit, finish, and structural soundness.
Defect Documentation:
Log issues accurately using inspection software or tablets, and communicate directly with shop floor builders to facilitate swift corrections.
Road Testing:
Conduct final test drives to identify rattles, mechanical anomalies, or performance quirks.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
