Otto's Auto World is seeking a skilled and motivated Used Automotive Inspector with a strong background in locating hidden damages, leaks, or mechanical / electrical issues primarily with domestic vehicles (2015-Current). To provide maintenance services on a diverse range of used vehicles. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay based on experience with a $300 Tool Transfer Allowance if needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and proven experience in automotive diagnostics (Primarily Domestic Makes). Used Automotive Inspector Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to accurately identify fluid leaks, belt wear, and abnormal cold-start noises on various makes and models. Look for signs of prior wrecks, frame repairs, or poor paint touch-ups. Runs OBD2 scanner to pull hidden error codes and test features like air conditioning and safety sensors Evaluate transmission shifting, suspension over bumps, wheel bearings, and brake performance. Collaborate effectively with service advisors and other team members to deliver high-quality and efficient service.

Experience:

Minimum of 3+ years experience in primarily domestic brands Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including electrical & mechanical diagnostics, and power-train components across various makes and models. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a strong attention to detail. ASE Cert.

• and other Certs, and experience with Diag equipment highly desired.

A valid driver's license is required and insurance required.

Used Automotive Inspector Compensation & Benefits:

• $50,000 plus Bonus. $300 Tool Transfer Allowance if needed Benefits offered
