Job Description

Quality Assurance Associate Job Summary We are looking for a Quality Assurance Associate to help ensure products, packaging, and production processes meet company quality, safety, sanitation, and productivity standards. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, comfortable using computers, and able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Perform hourly quality checks using mobile devices to verify finished products meet in-plant instructions and quality standards . Inspect packaging materials and donor candy to ensure they meet required specifications. Identify and reject or discard materials that do not meet quality standards. Perform manufacturing quality inspections, including: Product weight accuracy Bag and packaging quality Label accuracy Unusual odors or discoloration Inspect and audit staged inbound and outbound products for: SKU accuracy Visible damage Pallet counts Identify, research, and report quality discrepancies to management immediately. Maintain compliance with GMP, 6S, and OSHA standards . Follow all company Safety, Quality, and Productivity standards. Complete quality inspections, audits, and verification forms, including: Line clearance Safety audits Conformance checks Sanitation audits Oversee the day-to-day activities of the sanitation crew. Promote and participate in workplace stretching and ergonomic exercises. Assist with quality-related issues and special projects as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing, or inspection experience is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong basic math skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks based on business needs. Basic computer skills, including: Microsoft Office Data entry Quality assurance applications Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to frequently lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 55 lbs. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Must be willing to work overtime, including daily and weekend overtime as needed. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, organized, and quality-focused . You should be comfortable performing inspections, documenting results, identifying issues, and communicating quality concerns to management.
Position Details Pay:
$16.50 - $19.25/hour
Shifts:
1st, 2nd and 3rd
Overtime:
Daily and weekends as needed
