What to Expect The Material Review Board Lead Technician is responsible for managing the parts rejected by production or the field, bringing a cross-functional team quickly together to accurately determine root cause and disposition the rejected parts appropriately. The MRB Lead Technician collaborates with Quality Engineers, Production Control, Operations, Process Engineers, Material Planning, Supplier Quality Engineers, and Supplier Industrialization Engineers to contain any quality defects identified in Production or in the Field. What You'll Do

Disposition non-conforming material accurately and in a timely manner, including any material transactions. Document and communicate any identified defects on parts

Construct and maintain strong relationships with cross functional teams in all locations (onsite and offsite to Factory). Operate in the 'inspect, diagnose and repair' mindset

Create Supplier corrective action requests, including obtaining & logging updates to open requests. Track and present data trends on defects identified using data applications and systems

Leads and drives improvement activity for systemic problems in resourceful and effective ways on a regular basis. Guide MRB team to properly disposition parts in timely manner, driving root cause investigations

Represent MRB at production and engineering meetings. Coordinate team coverage if supervisors are absent

Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Trains other quality technicians on quality tools and documentation

Creates or assists in the creation of poke yoke for the purpose of quality improvement and increasing yield. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions What You'll Bring

Experience with quality and process control in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Experienced in

QS-9000, ISO/TS 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA

preferred

Working understanding of basic statistical concepts and methods

Highly skilled in complex problem solving and root cause analysis techniques

Experience in SQL, Python, Minitab/JMP, and Solidworks/Catia is preferred

Handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines

Perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting

Excellent technical communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Essential Physical Demands Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day

Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours a day, including over varied and uneven terrain

Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs

Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach to install parts

Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours a day

Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures

Ability to find issues in a work process andreceive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing

Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses, safety shoes, reflective vest, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
