Monday-Friday We are seeking Quality Control (QC) Technicians to join a growing steel fabrication and manufacturing operation. QC Technicians are responsible for inspecting raw materials, fabricated steel components, and finished assemblies to ensure products meet quality, dimensional, and project specifications. Multiple QC opportunities are available throughout the facility. Placement will be based on experience, skill level, and operational needs. Both experienced and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Training is available for candidates who have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities Inspect raw materials, fabricated steel components, and finished assemblies. Perform visual and dimensional quality inspections. Accurately use tape measures, calipers, micrometers, squares, width gauges, and other inspection tools . Read and interpret fabrication drawings, part prints, work orders, and Bills of Lading (BOLs). Verify materials, welds, and fabricated components meet required specifications. Identify and document defects, dimensional issues, and non-conforming products. Communicate quality concerns with production, welding, shipping, and receiving teams. Support quality inspections throughout different areas of the manufacturing facility. Operate forklifts or material-handling equipment when required. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Work in indoor and outdoor manufacturing/shop environments as needed. Qualifications Previous Quality Control, Quality Inspection, manufacturing, steel fabrication, welding, machining, or production experience is preferred but not required. Ability to accurately read a tape measure and basic measurements. Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other measuring tools is a plus. Ability to read basic fabrication drawings or blueprints is preferred. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned 12-hour shift. Comfortable working in a hot steel fabrication/manufacturing environment . Forklift certification or welding inspection experience is a plus. Candidates must complete a Quality Control assessment as part of the interview process. #BWC3
Pay:
