Job Description

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Quality Control Technicians to join our growing team! In this role, you will inspect raw materials, fabricated steel components, and finished assemblies to ensure they meet company, customer, and project specifications. Multiple QC positions may be available across different departments. Placement will be based on experience, skill level, and operational needs. Both entry-level and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply, and training is available for most positions.

Available Shifts Day Shift:

Monday-Friday, 4:30 AM-4:30

PM Night Shift:

Monday-Friday, 4:30 PM-4:30 AM What You'll Do Inspect raw materials, fabricated steel components, and finished assemblies for quality and dimensional accuracy. Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, squares, and inspection gauges. Read and interpret fabrication drawings, part prints, work orders, and Bills of Lading (BOLs). Verify materials, welds, and fabricated parts meet project specifications and quality standards. Document inspection results, non-conformance issues, and corrective actions. Work closely with production, welding, shipping, and receiving teams to address quality concerns. Perform quality checks in production, welding, shipping, or receiving based on department assignment. Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment when needed. Work in both indoor and outdoor shop or yard environments. Follow all company safety policies and promote safe work practices. What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to read and use measuring tools. Ability to read basic fabrication drawings and part prints. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Dependable work habits and ability to follow established processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work safely in a steel fabrication or industrial environment. Experience in quality control, steel fabrication, welding inspection, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or forklift operation is a plus. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in steel fabrication, manufacturing inspection, or quality control is preferred but not required. Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are encouraged to apply. Forklift certification is a plus but not required. Welding inspection experience is beneficial but not required. $23.00-$25.00 per hour

12-hour shifts Day shift available Night shift available Monday through Friday Overtime available #BWC2
