We are seeking a highly motivated hardworking individual who works well in a fast-paced environment, and extremely confident. To excel in this position, the candidate must be able to multitask, communicate well with others, and willing to work at a fast pace while maintaining the quality and accuracy set forth in the job expectations. Essential Responsibilities Adhere to OSHA and plant safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production process to ensure adherence to company and industry quality standards Communicate with production personnel about current inspection results and coordinate to determine corrective action plans when necessary Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence Perform duties with minimum supervision Qualifications High School Diploma or GED A minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing environment Previous HDPE/poly pipe experience Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on HDPE Use standard inspection and measurement equipment including calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement equipment Good understanding of audit process including FM and NSF audits Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with effective communication Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey quality control principles to team members Train and mentor technicians on inspection techniques, workmanship standards, and proper use of inspection equipment as needed Physical Requirements Ability to work in outdoor environments with potential exposure to dust, noise, and inclement weather conditions Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
