Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products by implementing and maintaining our quality control systems. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management principles, as well as a keen eye for detail and the ability to use precision measuring instruments. Responsibilities Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern Assists inspection duties:
  • Receiving inspection on incoming materials by confirming specification, conducting visual and dimensional inspection as well as documentation verification of MTR's C of C's. NDE's testing reports, etc.
  • Inspects in-process machined parts conducting visual and/or dimensional inspections
  • Performs final inspection which may include checking critical dimensions to specified tolerances, material hardness, hydro testing witnessing, visual inspection, etc.
Performs clerical duties i.e. documentation verification of MTRs, C of C's, nondestructive testing reports, and other required documentation Assist issuing NCRs Assist calibration records and calibration equipment when required Assists inspection training Performs other duties as required by management Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred but, not required Mechanical "hands-on" experience Able to work independently and as part of a team Able to handle heavy, bulky items manually. Must stand for long periods of time. Knowledge of
