Schedule:
Full-Time | 7:00 AM Start | Overtime/Saturdays as required

Mattress Manufacturing Position Summary iStaffing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Technician for a mattress manufacturing facility in Corsicana, TX. The Quality Technician will be responsible for inspecting materials and finished products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet established quality, workmanship, and safety standards. The ideal candidate is observant, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and able to identify and communicate quality issues before products move to the next stage of production. Key Responsibilities Perform quality inspections throughout the mattress production and assembly process. Inspect finished mattresses, components, materials, stitching, seams, tape edges, panels, labels, and overall workmanship. Identify defects, damage, incorrect measurements, poor stitching, improper assembly, or other quality concerns. Verify products meet established specifications and quality standards. Document inspection results and report defects or recurring quality issues to supervisors. Work closely with production employees and leadership to address and correct quality concerns. Ensure defective or non-conforming products are properly identified and separated. Assist with determining the cause of quality issues and preventing repeat defects. Maintain accurate quality records and inspection documentation. Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform additional quality or production-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous quality control, quality inspection, or manufacturing experience preferred . Mattress, textile, sewing, furniture, or similar manufacturing experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects. Ability to read measurements and follow product specifications and work instructions. Good communication and documentation skills. Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor and interacting with production employees. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift. Must be dependable and able to work required overtime, including Saturdays when needed. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. The right candidate will be proactive, consistent, and comfortable communicating quality concerns to both production employees and supervisors.
