Overview Join our dynamic team as a Vehicle Inspector and play a vital role in ensuring the safety, quality, and reliability of vehicles before they reach customers or are sent for further service. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of automotive systems, perform detailed inspections, and contribute to maintaining high standards across our vehicle fleet. As a Vehicle Inspector, you will utilize your mechanical expertise and keen eye for detail to identify issues, verify repairs, and uphold safety protocols, all while supporting a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to assess mechanical condition, safety features, and overall functionality. Verify that vehicles meet quality standards by examining mechanical systems, electrical components, tires, brakes, and body integrity. Perform automotive tire changes and basic repairs using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely. Identify necessary repairs or maintenance needs and document findings accurately for auto estimating purposes. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid checks, minor repairs, and auto body assessments. Collaborate with technicians and service teams to ensure timely completion of inspections and repairs. Maintain detailed records of vehicle inspections, repair reports, and parts used to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Requirements Proven experience in vehicle inspection or automotive repair with mechanic experience preferred. Strong knowledge of standard passenger car operation and automotive parts & accessories. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues related to mechanical systems and electrical components. Hands-on experience with auto estimating software is a plus. Ability to perform automotive tire changes and basic auto body repairs using hand tools and power tools. Physical capability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing manual tasks safely. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward clients and team members. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and auto restoration processes is advantageous. Pay:
$11.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
