Position Summary:

The Quality Inspector supports the plant by performing product inspections, maintaining strict quality control processes, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Working under the Regional Quality Manager or Quality Specialist, this role ensures compliance with customer specifications and supports the execution of a global multi-site Quality Management System (QMS). Candidates with metrology experience are especially encouraged to apply.

Quality Inspector Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-process inspections, first article inspections, PPAP, and customer-defined inspections
  • Execute quality assurance, quality control and continuous improvement processes
  • Support process engineering with capability studies and internal audits
  • Maintain accurate documentation and inspection records
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities
  • Train operators on inspection methodology Requirements for
Quality Inspector:
  • Strong metrology background (highly preferred)
  • Knowledge of gauging practices including attribute, variable, and transfer gauges
  • Ability to read blueprints and work with various measurement systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience entering data and analyzing reports in an ERP system
  • Strong communication skills and excellent recordkeeping
  • Ability to identify root cause and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector preferred but not required
  • Regular standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
