High SchoolResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities CMM Operation:
Program, calibrate, and operate manual or CNC CMM equipment to execute precision dimensional checks on fabricated metal parts.
Blueprint & CAD Analysis:
Interpret technical engineering drawings, CAD files, and GD&T specifications to plan measurement setups.
Data & Non-Conformance Reporting:
Log accurate inspection records, identify dimensional deviations, and collaborate with production to resolve quality issues.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance, setup, and troubleshooting for CMM machines and related quality inspection tools.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in team efforts to refine quality standards, lower defect rates, and enhance fabrication workflows.
Qualifications Experience:
2+ years operating CMM equipment within a metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing setting.
Technical Skills:
High proficiency in CMM software, GD&T application, and reading complex blueprints/CAD models.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing/engineering preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for prolonged periods, work in a shop environment (noise/dust), and lift up to 100 lbs.
