Shift:
FULL-TIME
Pay:
$21.00 Valtir is hiring a quality inspector to support our Fort Worth, TX manufacturing facility by performing quality checks of highway safety products. Job Duties Include, but not limited to: Inspect products and maintain documentation to ensure quality standards are being met Work with shop personnel and supervisors to improve overall effectiveness of quality systems Work with other departments to exchange quality information Count, check and tag products according to company's quality standards Complete all quality records and follow company polies/procedures Other duties as assigned
Working Environment:
Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy. The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant. Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes. Attendance and showing up to work on time are important to the success of the plant. Dependable job attendance is expected.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of quality experience Must be able to lift 35 lbs. Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility standing most of the day. Extensive experience in the use of inspection tools and measuring equipment Reliable and predictable attendance Must be able to communicate effectively with all staff Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently Ability to function as a team member and establish and maintain effective working relationships
