Essential Duties and Responsibilities This role is responsible for ensuring quality production and is actively engaged with team to meet daily production schedule. The Quality Control Assistant provides effective support to the assembly team and ensures production, safety and quality standards are maintained at all times. This is an hourly hands on working position. Forklift experience a must - can train. Work with Quality Control Manager to maintain quality of mixes and production. Perform lab tests and measurements. Ensure that procedures are followed and all quality requirements are met. Use basic problem solving skills to ensure stable operation. Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to QC Manager. Observe, maintain, coordinate and complete standard work. Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company's Quality System. Complete required documentation relating to business or regulatory requirements. Qualifications Must be able to lift 50 -75 lbs occasionally throughout the day. Must be able to work outside and get dirty. Education & Experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Ability to work with others collaboratively.
