NASummaryThe Quality Control Inspector is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day activities within the Quality Department, inspecting parts prior to shipping and ensuring that all inspection equipment is in good working condition. This position will also aid in the in-process inspection process and shipping processes as needed.

Essential Functions/DutiesPerform sample inspections on all outbound products to ensure product quality standards are met.

Organize and maintain all inspection instruments.

Coordinate with Quality Manager to schedule calibration services as needed.

Correspond with Quality Assurance representatives on any defects found during inspection. CompetenciesStrong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.

Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Ability to work with or without direct supervision as well as independently or in a team environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook applications.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Physical/Cognitive DemandsThis is largely a physically active role including walking long distances (over uneven surfaces) to/within our production facility, lifting 50lbs or more, and standing for long periods. Position also requires bending, stooping, squatting or standing as necessary. Cognitive abilities required include deductive reasoning, information ordering, oral comprehension, oral expression, problem sensitivity, written comprehension, and written expression.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. The hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Required Education and ExperienceHS Diploma/GEDPreferred Education and ExperiencePrior experience in manufacturing environment.2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
