Material Associate Job Summary The Material Associate supports production and engineering activities through the precise handling, tracking, and movement of materials, including fiber optic components and sensitive optical materials. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and comfort working with specialty materials in controlled environments. Job Responsibilities Verify, track, and maintain inventory of optical, electronic, and fiberrelated materials. Ensure materials are properly stored following handling requirements for sensitive or precision components. Support production by staging materials, kits, and components according to build or job orders. Perform material inspections to ensure quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications. Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies promptly. Follow cleanroom or ESD procedures when handling sensitive materials (where applicable).
