$20.00/hr + $3.00 shift differential About the Role A leading industrial services provider is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join their team in Odessa, TX. In this role, you'll inspect and test equipment and components to ensure compliance with defined specifications and industry standards, playing a critical part in maintaining safety and reliability across ESP-related operations. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed quality inspections on equipment, components, and assemblies using precision measurement tools Conduct functional and performance testing on ESP-related equipment per established procedures Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions to verify compliance Document inspection and test results clearly, capturing findings, measurements, and deviations Identify non-conforming materials/components and escalate to relevant stakeholders Maintain organized quality records to support audits and traceability Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues Follow all safety and quality standards throughout the 11/3 rotation, including extended shifts as required Requirements Proven experience in quality inspection/testing within an industrial, manufacturing, or oilfield environment Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications Experience using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Solid documentation and report-writing skills Hands-on ESP experience in a quality, maintenance, or operations context Ability to work an 11 ON/3 OFF schedule, including extended shifts High attention to detail and commitment to quality/safety standards Competence with basic computer applications for data entry and reporting Preferred Qualifications Experience with quality management systems or ISO-based standards Background in oil and gas field operations or service companies Familiarity with root cause analysis and corrective action processes Experience supporting audits or customer inspections High school diploma/GED required; technical certificate or vocational training in quality, mechanical, or industrial disciplines preferred ESP-specific training/certification highly desirable to join a team where your inspection skills directly support safe, reliable field operations.
