The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring manufacturing process compliance, executing quality gates, conducting first-piece approvals, supporting containment activities, and reinforcing a culture of quality throughout operations. This role serves as the operational backbone of the quality management system.

Key Responsibilities Perform First Piece Approvals and process verifications.

Execute quality gate inspections throughout manufacturing.

Perform process audits and layered process audits.

Support containment activities for nonconforming products.

Verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.

Monitor compliance to manufacturing procedures and standards.

Support SMS implementation and compliance activities.

Coach operators and supervisors on quality requirements.

Participate in root cause investigations and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

3+ years manufacturing or aerospace quality experience.

Knowledge of AS9100 standards is preferred.

Experience with auditing, inspections, and quality systems.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Success Metrics
