Position Purpose The QC Conformance Operator ensures all of the non-conforming product is recorded within the SAP system, stock levels are correct and updated. Also, suppliers are contacted of the product defect. Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities Inspect all non-conforming products, decide if this is a supplier defect or scrap part

Process the non-conforming product on the SAP system

Read and interpret drawings, to ensure part conforms to drawing specifications

Create and maintain a non-conforming log, create weekly reports to issue to all relevant stakeholders

Support defect resolution and root cause analysis

Good supplier communications

Ensure compliance with quality procedures

Have the ability to repair non-conforming product with supplier support to put back into stock and save the business money

Ensure non-conforming product is returned back to the correct supplier

Maintain safe and organised inspection areas

Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Experience in quality control

Ability to read engineering drawings

Has previously worked within the quality department

SAP trained

Strong attention to detail

Understanding of quality standards

Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law. Preferred Qualifications Quality qualification

Experience using measurement equipment

Experience in manufacturing environments Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies Inspection and measurement skills

Previous experience with torque tooling

Strong attention to detail
