Job Description
Systel Careers - Quality Assurance Technician - Sugar Land, TX Systel's business is growing, and we are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Technician to support our expanding production and quality operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our rugged compute products meet strict quality standards and continue to support mission ‑ critical customer needs. The QA Technician helps drive quality excellence through inspection ownership, data analysis, and continuous process improvement. Who You Are You are a detail ‑ oriented quality professional experienced in electro ‑ mechanical manufacturing environments. You thrive in inspection ‑ driven processes, enjoy problem ‑ solving through data analysis, and can collaborate cross ‑ functionally to ensure that quality objectives are consistently met. You are comfortable balancing hands ‑ on inspection work with process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Own and manage First Article Inspections, including recording, analyzing, and certifying results and driving process improvements. Own and manage Incoming Inspection, inspecting components before assembly and analyzing trend data. Support investigations, root ‑ cause analyses, and corrective actions for internal and supplier ‑ related quality issues. Conduct analyses related to critical control points, preventive measures, limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures. Provide technical support and backup to Quality Control Inspectors. Train production personnel on quality ‑ related processes. Assist with corrective action processes, calibration programs, UL follow ‑ up, ISO 9001 certification work, process and product audits, and other special quality projects. Education and Experience AS degree preferred. 5 years of experience related to manufacturing electro ‑ mechanical products. Working knowledge of standard office software applications. Ability to multi ‑ task effectively in a fast ‑ paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications ASQ Certification(s): CMI, CQT, and/or CQA. Experience supporting
