Evaluator Sunbelt Solomon United States, Texas, Temple 1922 Martin Luther King Junior Drive (Show on map) Aug 25, 2026 The Evaluator is responsible for the electrical testing and evaluation of transformers. Compliance with all safety requirements, product quality standards, and company policies are essential functions of this role. Evaluate various types of units which include internal and external visual inspections, electrical testing, and troubleshooting.
Collect dimensions, measurements, take photos, and complete drawings to document findings for fabrication options
Follow minimum and maximum guidelines on inventory threshold needs.
Operate tablet to complete data collection for inventory equipment and complete evaluations.
Partner with other departments on the results of the units after evaluation.
Complete virtual warehouse transactions.
Maintains internal quality standards and compliance with all safety factors.
Provide reporting and data metrics to management.
Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
Other assigned duties as needed.
HS diploma/GED required.
Technical or Vocational school preferred.
Basic skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
1-3 years of transformer experience preferred.
1-3 years of mechanical and/or electrical field experience preferred.
Material handling equipment experience (forklift, crane, etc.) preferred.
OSHA10 certification preferred.
Proven track record in safety excellence is required.
Adheres to all safety and environmental compliance regulations set by the organization. Notify management immediately of any safety concerns, hazardous conditions, or injuries.
Ability to read and interpret work orders.
Meet evaluation goals assigned by supervisor.
Ensure product quality meets company and client expectations.
Possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, cooperative attitude, strong attention to detail and can work in a team environment.
Adheres to the company's employee handbook policies and embodies the organization's core values.
Ability to learn other department job functions and fill in as needed.
Complete company compliance and safety training when required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
Physical requirements for this role include, but are not limited to the following: Lift 50lbs floor to waist and waist to shoulder multiple times
Standing and walking for long durations
Bending, squatting, and kneeling multiple times for long durations
The ability to climb up and down a ladder multiple times
Balance and stand on a ladder with three points of contact for extended periods of time
Comfortable working in the heat and cold due to manufacturing facilities not being climate controlled
