Job Description

Epic Go-Live Field Technician Location:
Tyler, TX — Onsite with local travel
Schedule:
Monday-Friday Duration:
Initial 12-week contract with potential to extend or convert
Pay:
Up to $65 per hour We are seeking a local Field Technician to support a Technical Dress Rehearsal ahead of an Epic go-live. This is a hands-on technical position focused on physically testing workstations, printers, and related equipment throughout healthcare locations. Responsibilities Travel to assigned locations to test workstations and printers before the Epic go-live Verify that PCs, printers, peripherals, and related hardware are installed and functioning correctly Troubleshoot and document technical issues discovered during testing Assist with workstation and printer testing from the Tyler office when not traveling Follow established testing procedures and accurately record results Escalate risks, defects, and unresolved technical issues Collaborate with technical teams, analysts, project managers, and operational staff Support quality-assurance activities and modify test scripts as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an Information Systems-related field or four years of related IT or operational experience in a healthcare environment At least two years of clinical or revenue-cycle operations experience Hands-on experience with PC hardware installation, workstation support, printer testing, or field services Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work onsite in Tyler and travel to nearby testing locations Epic proficiency or certification is preferred Must provide proof of education Must satisfy required medical clearances before starting
Pay:
$55.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
