Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector for a well-stablished company in Logan, UT. Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming and in-process manufactured materials and products. This role works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure all products meet strict quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, meticulous, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment while adhering to established process controls. Opportunities for growth and rewarding career path Key Responsibilities Inspect incoming materials and in-process components (welded, machined, assembled, and finished) using gauges, scales, vision systems, and other measuring and testing equipment to ensure compliance with specifications. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to maintain the quality of purchased materials and products. Investigate quality issues, generate non-conformance reports, and support corrective action processes and customer feedback resolution. Generate, review, and maintain quality documentation in accordance with established process controls. Reconcile final inspection documentation. Support document control processes, including scanning and archiving quality records. Maintain a strong "voice of the customer" focus, ensuring both internal and external expectations are met. Communicate professionally with coworkers, management, customers, vendors, and auditors. Adhere to all company policies, manufacturing standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree, technical training, or certifications (especially in welding, inspection, or quality management) preferred. American Welding Society Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) certification required or willingness to obtain. Level II certifications (or willingness to obtain) in: Ultrasonic Testing (UT) per

Experience with Portable CMM equipment (articulating arm, laser tracker) and inspection software. Minimum of 2 years of quality control/inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and ability to read engineering drawings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Willingness and availability to travel (in-state and out-of-state) as needed.
