Job Description

Hiring Bonus:
$1000 after successful completion of 120 days and an acceptable attendance record ABW has an immediate opening for an NDE Level II currently certified in accordance with
SNT-TC-1A
in one or more of the following methods. in MT, PT, UT, MSLT, or AWS CWI. This is a full time position at our fabrication facility in Arlington, Washington. The essential functions of the job are as follows. Proficient in operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM) / Romer arms for automated quality inspections Performs inspections and tests per QC Manual, QA Manual, procedures, instructions, drawings, and travelers at specified stages in production process Inspects and/or tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality of products or materials Records inspection and test data Evaluates inspection and/or test data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing manuals, procedures, instructions, drawings, or travelers Recommends modifications of existing quality or production manuals, procedures, instructions, drawings, or travelers to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability Sets up and performs nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance or material characteristics, as applicabl Must have proof of classroom and OJT hours for NDT certifications. Must be willing to work Over time as needed Must be able to multitask and work in a high pace environment. Willingness to grow and achieve additional certifications / training as needed.
