Job Description

Job Description:
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a vital role in routine quality control monitoring and testing, ensuring the highest level of quality in production records, material samples, inventory control, and label management. You will also assist in regulatory documentation and validation, supporting both production changeovers and transload processes.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine quality control monitoring and testing. Complete and maintain quality production records. Pull material samples and manage shipment processes. Support inventory control and material labeling. Enter QA test data into our ERP system. Assist in production changeovers and regulatory documentation. Facilitate validation and investigation testing. Sign off on transload processes for quality assurance. Perform weekly equipment checks and assist with internal calibrations.
Essential Skills:
Experience in quality control and assurance. Leadership experience. Strong computer skills. Excellent oral and written communication. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 4-year degree in Chemistry or Applied Science Diplomacy and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in both lab and production environments is preferred. Why Work Here? Work Environment:
You will work in a manufacturing environment that is non-climate controlled but generally comfortable. The role requires collaboration with production, warehouse, and management teams to achieve quality and operational goals. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Chesapeake, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
