Full Job Description Job Summary:

Thoroughly perform inspections, testing, and compliance verification for industrial control panels. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control / quality assurance and familiarity with electrical schematics and industrial automation components. Attention to detail is a must. Knowledge of UL 508A is plus but not required. Core Responsibilities Listed Below - Compensation and position level commensurate with education and experience. Ensure all completed control panels comply with UL 508A codes and criteria. Visually inspect completed control panels for aesthetic and mechanical deficiencies. Perform point-to-point testing to confirm all wiring matches electrical schematics. Tighten all connections with torque wrench to manufacturer specifications. Apply power and function test completed control panels. Program and test both panel meters and programmable logic controllers. Use digital multimeters and current loop generators (0-10V and 4-20mA) to verify functionality. Document all testing procedures and assemble final drawings and test reports. Assist customers with occasionally follow-up calls regarding panel operation. Ability to accept criticism and work as a team. Ability to perform a repetitious workload and maintain quality performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Mechanical ability (work with hand tools) Operation and use of digital multimeters Ability to move 100lbs and bend/stand in awkward positions Ability to accomplish tasks and follow directions without deviation from procedures. Knowledge in the use of a variety of tools Knowledge of electrical and pneumatics preferred Requires a high school diploma/GED or graduation from certified technical school, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience. Great attention to detail and communication skills.
