Sterling, Virginia job type: Contract salary: $25.00 - 31.01 per hour work hours: 6am to 3pm education: High School responsibilities: Perform comprehensive physical, visual, and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on receiving, in-process, and final hardware using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, Quality policies, and technical documentation to verify that all components meet exact engineering and safety specifications.

Execute unit shakedowns to check for foreign objects or loose hardware, conduct Preliminary Material Reviews (PMR), and assist with third-party source inspections for Our Client.

Verify work order documentation for accuracy and manage inspection records using Our Client's computer systems, including SAP and the Engineering Information System.

Support overall quality assurance operations for Our Client, with the flexibility to handle assigned duties and complete occasional customer site travel (~5%).
qualifications:
High School diploma (or G.E.D. equivalent) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant inspection experience.
