Job Description

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Technician Position Overview Benoure is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Technician to join our growing team. This position specializes in improving indoor air quality, comfort, and efficiency through the installation, maintenance, and service of indoor air quality equipment and systems. The IAQ Technician will work in a variety of environments, including residential homes, commercial businesses, and schools , providing indoor air quality solutions based on the needs of each customer and facility. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with customers, and is comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Install residential indoor air quality products including: Air purification systems Whole-home humidifiers Dehumidifiers UV air treatment systems Electronic air cleaners High-efficiency filtration systems Fresh air ventilation equipment Perform routine maintenance and service on IAQ equipment. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform necessary repairs. Inspect HVAC systems and recommend indoor air quality improvements. Educate customers on product operation and maintenance. Explain available IAQ solutions in a professional, non-pressure sales approach. Complete service documentation using company software. Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory. Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices. Work closely with Service Technicians and Install Teams to provide complete customer solutions. Represent Benoure professionally while delivering exceptional customer service. Qualifications HVAC or mechanical experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate. EPA Section 608 Certification preferred (or ability to obtain). Strong mechanical aptitude. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and on ladders. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Preferred Qualifications Experience with residential HVAC systems. Knowledge of humidity control and ventilation systems. Experience installing or servicing IAQ products. Sales or customer education experience. Sheet metal or ductwork experience is a plus.
