full-time Quality Inspection Supervisor - Aerospace Manufacturing AT3 Staffing is partnering with a well-established aerospace and defense manufacturer in Lynnwood, Washington to identify a Quality Inspection Supervisor. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity with an industry leader that designs and manufactures highly engineered components used in commercial aerospace, defense, space, and other mission-critical applications. Position Summary The Quality Inspection Supervisor will lead a team of inspectors supporting receiving inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection activities. This individual will be responsible for ensuring supplier components, raw materials, and finished products meet company, customer, and regulatory quality requirements while supporting daily production schedules and continuous improvement initiatives. This role also provides leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to the inspection team while driving key performance metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Quality Inspectors. Plan daily inspection activities to support production schedules and customer commitments. Monitor and improve quality KPIs through data analysis and problem-solving. Oversee First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to ensure compliance with AS9102 and customer requirements. Manage nonconforming material processes and support disposition activities. Participate in hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of inspection personnel. Support new product introductions and in-process inspection activities. Conduct internal quality and safety audits while supporting customer and third-party audits. Assist in developing Quality Technicians and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve production and quality issues. Minimum Qualifications Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace or another highly regulated manufacturing environment with quality inspection responsibilities. At least 1 year of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience. Technical Knowledge Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS). Experience with process improvement and quality control methodologies. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, process controls, inventory/logistics, and project coordination. Skills Strong leadership and employee development skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Education High School Diploma or GED required. U.S. Person status required due to ITAR regulations. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree. Certified ISO or AS Lead Auditor credentials.

Experience with:

AS9100 Quality Management Systems AS9102 First Article Inspection CMMs or Keyence Optical Measurement Systems Root Cause Analysis and Nonconformance Investigations Aerospace manufacturing quality systems NADCAP, MIL, ASTM, or ASM standards FAA documentation (Part 21, 8130-3) ASQ Certifications (CQI, CQT, CQA, etc.) Work Environment Full-time onsite position in Lynnwood, WA Manufacturing and office environment Occasional weekend support as needed Up to 10% travel Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Required use of appropriate PPE within manufacturing areas

Compensation & Benefits Salary:

$101,817 - $138,945 depending on experience and qualifications.
