Building on nearly 50 years of success, we deliver Payload & Protection Systems, Aero/Hydrodynamic Interstage Systems, and Propulsion & Launch Systems to more than 80 prime contractors supporting over 130 space and defense programs. This role is part of our Hypersonics and Strategic Missile Defense business, which designs, develops, and delivers highly dependable missile systems for hypersonic and strategic missile defense missions. We provide integrated, mission-ready hardware that brings together multiple technologies into unified systems engineered to perform in demanding operational environments. Our tip-to-tail capabilities include payload protection and deployment systems, propulsion systems, aerodynamic interstage systems, separation systems, missile subsystems, shroud systems, launch systems, and payload integration solutions. As a Receiving Inspector, you support product quality assurance by inspecting incoming hardware, verifying conformance to drawings and documentation requirements, and supporting in-process inspections and testing. Working with Quality Assurance, engineering, project management, and technical teams, you help ensure hardware and its supporting documentation meet established requirements. Responsibilities Performs inspection of incoming hardware. Verifies hardware complies with applicable drawings. Verifies hardware documentation is complete and correct. Assists Quality Assurance with preparation of Product Technical Data Packages (TDP). Assists Quality Assurance with in-process inspections and tests of product. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with basic measuring instruments and tools. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, drawings, and/or technical diagrams. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications One year or more of experience in a quality assurance role and/or technical field. Experience operating mill and/or lathe machines, press brakes, or other manufacturing equipment. Familiarity with
AS9100 / ISO 9001.
