Potato Inspector - Ag World Support Systems Quincy, Washington Are you looking to work for a growing company that values YOU? Ag World Support Systems is the trusted leader in agricultural inspection services worldwide. Ag World Support Systems is hiring for the position of Potato Inspector to perform potato inspections at the Quincy, WA Lamb Weston location. Starting at $19 per hour. Day Shift starting at 7:30 am on Mondays and 8:30 am Tuesday through Saturday; holidays and overtime possible during peak season. Accurately calculate averages and percentages; record data; able to lift 35lbs and stand for long periods of time; work safely in noisy, dusty conditions; communicate in English and maintain positive work relationships. Perform various duties such as sampling, inspection, and additional services as they arise.SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Maintain a positive attitude with co-workers, management staff, and customers. Accurately record inspection results. Assist in the implementation of the QA program. Maintain working knowledge of grade criteria for application in potato inspection. Perform inspection process according to grade criteria. Maintain a high level of confidentiality. Comply with all safety and housekeeping procedures and practices. Stay on duty until relieved or as directed by supervisor/lead. Appropriate AWSS personnel may assign other accountabilities as necessary.QUALIFICATIONS
High School or equivalent education preferred. Analytical skills with the ability to calculate averages and percentages. Knowledge of potato inspection process preferred. Communicate effectively in English. Follow written and oral instructions. Basic computer skills preferredREQUIREMENTS
Lift up to 35 pounds properly. Work in an outside environment in varied conditions. Stand for long periods of time and be mobile. Differentiate color. (Not color blind) Work around noise, dirt, odors, dusts, chemicals, fumes, and in poorly ventilated areas. Work around potential mechanical hazards such as machinery, conveyor belts, chains, and forklifts. Work around icy, slippery, muddy, uneven flooring and surfaces. May operate forklifts and/or skid steers.Pay:
